The NHL playoffs are in full swing with upsets, plenty of overs, and a few series that will make the Spittin’ Chiclets crew look terrible or like heroes.  This blog will be an everyday staple in the life of the EBR bettors. We are currently 4-2 with our series picks with two game 7s today to finish off the 1st round.

“Great moments are born from a great opportunity!” - Herb Brooks. This famous quote was during the 1980 USA hockey Olympic run.  This quote rings true about the Flames game tonight and if they win… oh baby do we have a great moment on the horizon. 

If you listen to the Spittin' Chiclets pod and know the bet between Biz and Whit then you want the Flames to win. If they win, the fans of the POD and the NHL will get the battle of Alberta for round 2. This would be great hockey and being able to witness the back and forth between these two guys would sell out stadiums.  

The Flames will need to get a lead to put the pressure on the Stars to open up. I can see a similar game to that of the Oilers last night unfolding in Calgary.  I would have done anything for a Chiclets trip to Calgary today as The Red Mile will be absolutely bonkers.
